· In about 20yrs working experience at General Motors Company, he obtained over 40 technical innovation awards, published over 20 peer-reviewed technical papers and a dozen patents. His technical areas include system and component level tribological designs for transmission and engines in eDrives. He is the recipient of the highest GM technical achievement award “Boss-Kettering”.
Dr. Yuxiang Jiang,Vice President of Jiangsu Alternative Energy Vehicle Research Institute, Hybrid Powertrain expert, in charge of Vehicle Control and Integration department.
• Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering of University of Illinois. MBA from University of Michigan. Master and Bachelor in Energy and Power Engineering of Tsinghua University.
• Years experience in Big Three automotive companies in USA. He was in charge of powertrain control and advanced engineering projects at Ford Motor Company. He received Powertrain Controls Implementation Ready Award in 2005.
• After landing to China, he had been the Head of Powertrain Integration Management at FCA Asia Pacific, leading ePowertrain development, integration and Pacifica PHEV localization. Successfully launched Jeep Cherokee/Renegade/Compass.
• He had also been the Vice President of Geely Powertrain R&D, Powertrain Chief Engineer of SAIC Commercial Vehicle Tech Center, Powertrain Chief Engineer of BAIC Foton Engine Tech Center. Managed many cross-nation R&D projects (Foton-Cummins, Geely-Volvo).
• With deep expertise on control, electric propulsion, supplier management, vehicle calibration and launch. Received 2015 China Automotive NEV Industry Technology Innovation award.
• Serve as expert committee member of China NEV Motor and Control Industry Association.
Dr. Daqing Zou,Vice President of Jiangsu Alternative Energy Vehicle Research Institute,in charge of Powertrain department.
• He got the PH D of engineering mechanics in Tsinghua University, and worked as Postdoctoral researcher in Wayne State University.
• He had worked for 20 years in Powertrain department of General Motors with solid professional technology, excellent problem problem-solving ability, as well as great planning, coordination, organization and leadership ability, strong sense of responsibility, especially team spirit. He had been responsible for leading a cross-border engineering team (USA, India, Germany, Italy and South Korea) to support the global GM product development of ICE engines.
• He has great working experience on the method development, team trainings,researches, technical guidance on CAE analysis for engine, transmission and battery packs of EV/HEV in thermal management, dynamics, structural strength & fatigue, mechanical design & optimization.
